Great little car that is fun to drive and it’s a delight to plug in at night and know you’ll have a full charge the next day

Traded from a 2015 X 24kwh to 30kwh G 2016 and a major all round difference. Very pleased with the car.

Very recent purchase but my initial reaction is that this is a great car. Looking forward to using it for many years before replacing it with the next model.

This is a car I always dreamed that I could have. The reality is better than the dream. I truly love my car and I am so happy to take the plunge and go fully electric.

We enjoy driving our Leaf, and it makes you realise how good these cars are. That's why you see so many Leafs driving around. These vehicles represent great value for money, are easy to drive, straight forward to charge, and very cost effective to run. About $3 in electricity on night rates for 150km of range versus about $20 for fuel in our petrol vehicle. 90% of our driving is in and around Christchurch, and the range of the Leaf easily meets our daily requirements, bit of a no brainer really :)

We are really enjoying our leaf. We have driven it all over Wellington and are looking forward to taking it to Auckland. It is such a great car for driving around the city as you are not sitting at traffic lights wasting fuel and pick up is very quick. We have used fast charge once when we went to Masterton and it only took 14 minutes and cost under $7. It drove very well over the Remutaka Hill.

We’ve only been driving it a week and already completely relaxed about the range and ease of recharging out and about. Kind of wondering why it took us so long.

I love my car, had a leaf that was involved in an accident just after Christmas and this one replaced it. It has more features than my other one and still low mileage at what I considered to be a very reasonable price. Electric cars are the way of the future and I highly recommend people to buy one, extremely cheap to run and have plenty of power. With more and more charge stations popping up all over NZ it makes sense to own one, you can travel and get to have a break when you charge the car, so good for you and the environment.
