I was surprised by how quickly the Leaf picks up speed. It is very smooth to drive and has an excellent range of features for the price point.

Loving our Nissan leaf. It's great to drive and the safety features are awesome. We're saving so much money on petrol too.

These are amazing cars. I can't understand why everyone doesn't want to UPGRADE their petrol cars to one of these. They are more enjoyable to drive, quieter, faster, handle better .... and they are good for the environment too.

We like our little Leaf so far, it has great power and is fun to drive. It also charges up well and is easy to use.

Lots more space than you would think, similar size to a station wagon with seats down (measured against our Caldina).

We drove back from Christchurch to Mount Maunganui and had to plan where we charged our vehicle along the way. Like the quietness of the vehicle and the heated seats.

I didn't have a lot of experience with electric cars prior to buying this. We were mainly interested due to the increasing cost of fuel. The Leaf has surprised me how nice it is to drive around town - smooth and handles speed bumps well, quick acceleration, and loving all the camera angles for parking. Charging has been easy - justy plug it in at the end of the day. We're not really getting close to its limits on range (230ish km) so happy to use air conditioning etc. The increase on our power bill has been negligible so it seems like a very good decision. We do have another car so longer out of town trips and towing are covered that way. It's good to know that in the future we will be able to replace the battery at a reasonable price.

The parking/reversing cameras are the best I have used in a car I’ve owned. We have been achieving close to the advertised range and the indication on the dash is pretty accurate but only if you use the economy features. Eco mode, regenerative braking and E pedal.

Feels plenty powerful and great to use home or the network of charging stations around NZ...to make an immediate impact on emissions reduction.

Really enjoying our first EV experience. The 2018 Leaf provides us with sufficient mileage to cover our trips without needing to worry about battery charge. It offers a very smooth and quiet ride and great driver experience.

This was a great step up from my 2015 24kw Leaf, and I love the increased range, cruise control, reversing camera, and comfort. My kids love it to for longer journeys.

Excellent short distance EV. This is not a touring vehicle.

I absolutely love the Leaf. It drives so smoothly, has great pickup and the cruise control is fantastic on the motorway. The Lane Detection feature is useful, especially for my son who is learning to drive. The boot is very deep so the capacity is excellent. Overall, very happy with the car.

Already owned a 2014 leaf which still goes great but needed extra range for some longer travel days. We went for a Nissan Leaf again over other makes due to the quality of our 2014 vehicle. The 2018 model has again hit the mark. Great vehicles!

Still a great option for a family car around the city. The newer style and tech is a welcome upgrade from the original

This is my first fully electric vehicle. I travel 70-80kms per day for work and afterschool activities. I am already noticing the difference to my bank account as I was spending around $150 - 200 per week on petrol. It is a different routine and it is important to remember to plug the vehicle in at night, although I have the security of knowing that there is a fast charge station near me. The back seats and boot are actually more spacious that I would've first expected which is great for sports gear and transporting kid. I've had my car for just over a week and I'm loving it so far.
